MAKE A LEAFLET TO ADVERTISE AN EVENT
Leaflets come in all shapes and sizes and are used to advertise things. Clubs and small businesses often use desk top publishing software to make their own leaflets.
A desk top publisher (such as MS Publisher, Serif Page Plus) is different from a word processor (MS Word) as it uses frames and boxes to put the text or pictures anywhere on the page. You can include fancy texts, colours and backgrounds. A word process is mostly used for typing lots of words and inserting the occasional picture.

Use a desk top publishing program, such as Serif Page Plus, to make the leaflet again, in your own style. Your effort must be better than the example. You may want to print the example out first, or just keep switching windows to keep referring to it.
Some ways that you could improve the leaflet are:
Use a variety of fonts
Use a variety of colours
Use a border
Lay the information out in a different way
Use different words to communicate the same message
You should be able to complete this task in 1 hour.
